A studio that loves paper
UZIR is a Ukrainian design studio. We make posters, photo books and paper goods for the home that are good to live with every day.
Why we do this
Most of what we see every day was never chosen on purpose. We want the things on your wall to mean something to you, and the photos on your phone to finally become a book you can leaf through.
So we make a small number of things and think about each one: the composition, the type, the colour, and how it will look in a real room.
Design and print
Every drawing, poster and layout is made in the studio. Part of the collection is inspired by Ukraine: the Carpathians, the steppe, the rhythm of embroidery. We don't copy traditional patterns; we look for a contemporary form in them.
Printing is part of the design for us. We choose the paper and format for each piece and prepare files so the printed item looks the way we meant it to.
Quality you can hold us to
A person reviews personalized layouts and uploaded photos. If a photo is too small to print well, or something in the text looks wrong, we write to you before printing.
If an order arrives damaged or faulty, we reprint it or refund you.
Things that become yours
A city name on a poster, a title on a photo book, a greeting inside your cards. Personalization turns a good thing into your thing.
Printed to order
We print each piece only after it has been ordered. There is no stockroom of unsold posters and no print runs to throw away. We print exactly what is needed.
